Feature: Data Bound Select Box

Hi,

I have just started using Sigma Grid and it looks like a fantastic product except I can not find an easy way to add data bound select boxes to grids.

I found  this in the API help
     editor : { type :'select' ,options : {'S': 'Shiped' , 'P':'Packed', 'N':'NA'}  }
but I would like to get the OPTIONS from another table in a database

If this is not a current feature (I may have missed it) can it be added and if so can we pay to get it added as a priority?
